Ford Focus Cleaning Pump BV61-17K624-AB installation without modification

If your Ford Focus experiences weak windshield washer spray, intermittent spraying, or no spray at all, after ruling out insufficient wash fluid or nozzle blockage, the issue is likely aging of the wash pump motor or internal impeller seizure. This part when functioning normally pressurizes washer fluid from the reservoir to the nozzles to evenly cover the windshield for clear visibility in rain or grime. OEM number BV61-17K624, fits multiple Ford Focus models (verify original connector). Replace by directly swapping the pump; no wiring or bracket modifications required. Disconnect battery negative first, and ensure the sealing ring is intact to prevent leaks.
