When Ford vehicles’ instrument cluster lights frequently show tire pressure warnings or indicate “TPMS fault” despite normal tire pressure, the TPMS battery or signal module may be exhausted or aging and needs replacement. This sensor monitors tire pressure and temperature and transmits wireless data to the vehicle computer to keep you informed of tire status, preventing blowouts or increased fuel consumption.
