When your BMW F20/F21/F22 backs up and radar misdetects, beeps continuously, or does not respond to obstacles at all, the factory rear parking sensors have aged and failed. The sensors use ultrasonic waves to detect distance to rear obstacles and provide graded alerts to assist parking.
